The Knitting Pilgrim

THE KNITTING PILGRIM is a one-man play and talkback about the artistic and spiritual journey of KIRK DUNN, who took fifteen years to knit a triptych of tapestries, designed in the style of stained glass windows, exploring the commonalities and conflicts of the Abrahamic faiths.

There is no other project like it in the world.

Ergo Pink Fest

Ergo Pink Fest is a theatre festival that supports and promotes the work of women and gender-marginalized playwrights. For the past 2 years, over 150 local artists have participated in bringing workshops, panel discussions and 15 new plays to Toronto's theatre scene.

At The Fringe

The longstanding ties between Ergo Arts Theatre and The Toronto Fringe has spanned over three decades. Most recently, new members of the ergo arts team joined with veterans to create the all-female powerhouse behind Buckle My Shoe.

Pink

Since 2014, Ergo Arts has expanded their team to include a new generation of artists. Mentored by the founders of Ergo Arts Theatre, these new members are exploring themes of gender equality, young love and identity through original works and adaptations. Most recently, they spearheaded a reading series of adapted Jane Austen's works, beginning with Pride & Prejudice.

Ergo Arts began in the mid 90’s as Skazmos Theatre. The company’s work in the Independent/Fringe Theatre community spanned almost two decades and included the development of new Canadian plays and musicals, original adaptations of ancient classics, and exploration of bilingual works.
