Through Your Eyes: The Odyssey Project
Through Your Eyes is multi-arts collaboration with our community and professional artists, using Homer’s The Odyssey as the framework to explore ideas about how we are connected despite our different journeys. With a series of workshops, Ergo Arts brings together the people of the community and artists of various disciplines to create each segment of the final performance, through spoken word, musical composition, movement and digital arts. This four-phased project culminates in a public performance following each of the first three stages and launches an ongoing community-based program in its final phase.
Two Voices: Hellenic Reading Series
The Ergo Arts reading series Two Voices (Δυο Φωνες) introduces bilingual (Greek and English) programming. The work encompasses classics, modern drama, and showcases the works of local Greek-Canadian talent.
Ergo Arts provides the unique opportunity for artists to continue to push beyond their boundaries. Whether it’s specific practical instruction in their field, professional administration, social media management or mind/body training, artists will have a chance to work with skilled and innovative professionals from around the globe.
